Conservation Wall of fame
The Don Bronson Memorial Conservation Wall of Fame was created by the hard work, vision and leadership of Larry Koch and Greg Tessmann after the passing of their close friend Donald Bronson in 2007.
They wanted to pay tribute to their long time, friend and mentor. Don was a driving force in the Federation for decades and served as a Federation Delegate, Habitat Committee Chairman, Water Fowl Delegate and Master Hunter Education Instructor.
The wall is a place where sportsmen and women that have served our community can be recognized for their service. Having their name engraved on a plaque which is mounted to the wall.
The wall is located at Cornell Cooperative Extension on Lake Road in Lockport, New York.
Each year a maximum of two people can be voted in to go on the wall. Nominations are submitted to a committee that comprises of Federation delegates. Nominations must be turned in between January 1st and February 28th.
There is also a brick walkway that leads up to the wall and engraved bricks can be purchased by anyone that wants to so appreciation for a friend, family member, mentor, pet and/or organization.
