Small Game highlights

  1. Assists in re-introducing the Varying Hare (Snowshoe Rabbit) in Western New York. 
  2. Assists the DEC with the distribution of the Winter Wild Turkey Flock Survey. 
  3. Worked to allow Sunday Pheasant hunting in Niagara County.
  4. Worked to establish a Spring Turkey hunting season in Niagara County.
  5. Worked to extend the coyote season and allow different methods of hunting.
  6. Performed informal surveys with the DEC at the Niagara County Fair.
  7. Reports on legislation covering furbearing seasons
